Olaf Jensen

As a fisherman, Olaf Jensen lives in dialogue with its environment, and moves with the seasons, the tide, and fish he fishes for. Wearing orange waterproof clothing and a slouch hat to protect him from the wet and cold, he fishes for smelt, eels, zander, herrings and mitten crabs. As a self proclaimed ‘eel-lover’, he is a fisher and smoker of eel, as well as a well known activist for the eel. With his activist community aalaktie.de he raises funds for the release of glass eels in the Elbe and Schlei.
